The 36th New York Village Halloween Parade 2009

The annual New York City Village Halloween Parade is one of the most recognized Halloween Events in NYC and will surely get you in the Halloween spirit, as it is the largest public Halloween celebration in the United States. Join the more than 2 million people that come to downtown Manhattan to attend the parade each year. Halloween Party Events

Guastavino's

Located in Midtown, Guastavino's is probably one of the most extravagant and well-known places to celebrate Halloween. There are several options of tickets you can purchase including Seated VIP, Ultra VIP, and General Admission (which will get you open bar from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.).

Espace

Joonbug has relocated its 8th Annual Capitale Masquerade Ball to Espace! The Halloween Party at this ultra-chic ballroom-style venue begins at 10 p.m. You may also choose between VIP Access and General Admission.

M2 Ultra Lounge (Mansion)

Halloween Scavenger Hunts in New York

If you want to experience a Halloween event reminiscent of your childhood Halloween adventures then be sure to check out the variety of scavenger hunts that are taking place all over Manhattan. Some scavenger hunts include The Secrets of Central Park, The Ghosts of Greenwich Village Scavenger Hunt, The Sex and the Village Scavenger Hunt (which takes you to various NYC locations where the Sex and the City series was filmed), The Murder at the Museum of Natural History Scavenger Hunt, and The Haunted Times Square Scavenger Hunt. Please be aware that not all of these scavenger hunts take place on Halloween day. Some of them start several weeks before Halloween and run through December.
